I’m a cinematographer and filmmaker from Poland, currently based in Berlin and working internationally. I studied Fine Arts in Poznań before earning a degree in Cinematography at the Babelsberg Film University KONRAD WOLF.
My work moves between documentary and fiction, driven by a deep interest in observed realities and a focus on cinematically crafted, intimate narratives. I’m drawn to projects that challenge the boundaries of genre and form, using cinematography to examine form and perception, and to invite a nuanced perspective on reality.
My films have been featured at renowned international festivals, including the Berlinale, Visions du Réel, Docs Against Gravity, DOK.fest Munich, Dok Leipzig.
My first feature-length documentary, Fortschritt im Tal der Ahnungslosen ( Progress in the Valley of people who don’t know) received the German Short Film Award in Gold (Special Prize for films up to 70 min.).
I’m a Berlinale Talents alumna and a member of the European Film Academy, DAE
(Documentary Assiation of Europe) as well as Cinematographinnen, Women Cinematographers Network.
